Primary school can be the first moment that neurodiverse children are confronted with being different. Neurodiversity involves different neurological developments and, if dealt with negatively, can have lifelong consequences for those affected. ‹Knuff› is a school chair for the whole class, but based on the needs of children with ADHD. Stimulus reduction is an essential factor in promoting concentration. Despite its reduced form and function, the chair‘s rotating backrest is designed to allow children to sit in different ways and allow movement and comfort. The soft, hugging backrest ensures a selfconfident posture and support in everyday school life.
